Process Engineer:

As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to seamlessly transition new product requirements and processes onto the production floor. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying, developing, and implementing enhancement solutions for existing products while upholding or exceeding quality standards.
Job Requirement:
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure that developed items are manufacturable and that production processes are optimized.
- Collaborate with the design review team to create processes for prototypes and scale them to meet production requirements.
- Develop sampling plans and test methodologies/requirements for new product development in partnership with Quality Assurance.
- Create and maintain manufacturing routings and labor standards for new products, and update existing routings as necessary to accurately reflect the manufacturing process.
- Support the new product development process by assisting engineering and quality teams with Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and other documentation to ensure accurate translation of requirements to the manufacturing floor.
- Design and develop processes and work instructions to enhance process flow, reduce variability, and improve process capability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing systems and process enhancements that optimize all stages of the manufacturing process. Share insights and train other engineers on these improvements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior applicable experience
- Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred) and eagerness to learn new software
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in interpreting customer drawings, specifications, CAD models, and layout reports.
- Knowledge of manufacturing automation and PLC programming is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all company functions, including Engineering, Quality, and Production.
- Capable of conveying ideas, concepts, and procedures clearly to all organizational levels, from shop floor employees to cross-functional team members.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects with excellent time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful.
Salary $90,000.
